Buchanan
Automation, Inc., Named New Distributor of ipds User-Friendly
Machine Vision Systems
BILLERICA,
MA (March 22, 2005) ipd, (www.goipd.com), the intelligent
products division of Coreco Imaging, Inc., has named Buchanan Automation,
Inc. (www.buchanan-a.com), as a Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana
and Northern California distributor of its complete line of easy-to-use
machine vision solutions for manufacturing end users and system
integrators.
"Buchanan
Automation is an established, full-service provider of Automation
Control systems in the Pacific Northwest. They have the resources,
desire and proven ability to exceed customer expectations across
a range of industries," said Steve Geraghty, Director of ipd.
"I am very pleased to partner with Buchanan Automation and
confident that they will quickly grow ipds presence within
the Northwestern States they serve."
"After
investigating several vision system manufacturers, Buchanan Automation
chose to collaborate with ipd because of the unique niche ipd occupies
in the marketplace. Since we support facilities where sophisticated,
networked vision systems have been in use for some time, as well
as customers who are just starting to optimize machine performance
with vision, we needed a partner who had cost-effective solutions
for both ends of the spectrum," said Blake DeFrance, Electrical
Product Manager, Buchanan Automation. "We are excited to add
ipd to our complete range of pneumatic and electrical automation
solutions for our customers."
Buchanan
Automation offers a complete line of automation and control systems
as well as value-added services and support.
