What
is iCheck?
iCheck is a prepackaged solution consisting of an intelligent camera
with a machine vision toolset that can be applied to a diverse range
of applications.
Where
can it be used?
All types of manufacturing or production operations that require
verification for quality control - such as package and content inspection,
part measuring, cracked or stained surfaces etc.
What
makes it easy to use?
iCheck is built on a simple interface framework, with wizard-like
capabilities, that guide users through the setup process. All of
the complexity normally associated with vision algorithms has been
carefully abstracted in favor of more logical and intuitive control.
iCheck has been intentionally designed to allow deployment by non-vision
professionals.
How
many job files can I create?
iCheck supports 16 different job (part) files that can be switched
dynamically.
How
is it mounted?
iCheck can be mounted to a standard DIN rail
What
if my production line is miles away?
No problem! Our web browser interface enables you to check the status
of your production line whether it is a few feet or half a world
away.
How
robust is the underlying technology?
ipd is a division of Coreco Imaging, a leader in machine visioning
systems. We've utilized that extensive expertise to develop iCheck.
Do
I need a PLC?
Not necessarily. iCheck has extensive hardware support for part-in-place
detection; strobe illumination; camera trigger; and part counting
for delayed pass, fail and rework part sorting.
How
fast is it?
iCheck can inspect up to 1800 parts per minute.
How
can I diagnose setup problems?
To make setup and debug easier, iCheck records information on recent
passed, failed and reworked parts; Image and key inspection data
for each part.
What
if I need help in choosing the correct lighting and lens for my
application?
ipd tools helps you with these decisions and also provides sources
for ipd qualified parts.
